This car was originally from Vista California, nd migrated to Texas sometime in the 90'sIn 2001 A Gentleman that was a classic carenthusiast purchased it and amongst otherprojects, ellbehind the pack.The car sat in hisback yard (original resting spot photos above) for about 10 years,thankfully the grass was mowed around it often and the car remained solid and rust free. He has recently passed and hissons decided it was time to sell.
The car retains the original Solexcarburetors, nd Factor Air Conditioning compressor with components, hichI've never seen on a 190sl. I also have theoriginal toll roll in nearly mint condition.as well as spare tire in great shape.
I believe this car to have its original paint, nd reflects in the paint code of DB40G, ith parchment interior.
you oftenhear about cars being perfect candidates for restoration, ut this truly qualifies as such.
