1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Turbo Diesel Description

This is a classic car for that person who desires a uniquely stylish, understated, luxurious vehicle. Look no further. The beauty is all original!
I purchased this beautiful Mercedes in September 2011 from what I know to be the second owner. It is in very good condition. I have listed all the things that I believe are imperfections (see photos/read below).The paint is all original. There are no dents or dings in the body. It is Silver Blue Metallic with Navy MB-Tex which has endured and outperformed better than leather. The car includes its original First Aid Kit set in the rear window compartment, an original Tool Kit in the trunk, and a full spare tire. The interior is in great condition, wood grain is in good condition, no tears in headliner (looks new). Central A/C blows cold and heat/defroster all work, AM/FM/Cassette radio work.
Since owning, I have had regular oil changes nearly every 3k miles or once a year because it has been my weekend car; however, it can be a daily driver if you perfer. It's a very dependable vehicle. I purchased the car with 98,454 miles on it. Currently, it has a very low mileage of 110,362!!! These cars are known for going a half-a-million miles or more!
I had brakes replaced, glow plugs, valve cover gasket and valve adjustment, fuel filter, motor/engine mounts, gear box adjustment, radiator, and water pump. I added a hood pad under the hood, and also, Chrome Hood Cowls.
All lights, power windows, central locking, sunroof, and wipers work well. Tires (Michelins) have good tread and rims are in good condition. This car has been garaged since I've owned it. No leaks. All glass, carpets, and chrome look nice. No Rust!!!
This car runs and shifts very good. It can hang on the road with the big boys.It's a solid car that is sure to give you years of enjoyment.
Recent repairs: New Brake, New Brake Calipers, New Brake Lines replaced and flushed, and an Oil/Filter-Change. July 5 2016.
Only minor issues: Sunroof works perfectly, but is a little loose, no leaks-not a real issue, you only hear it when you ride over a bump (was like this when I purchased the car). Some cracking/chips in paint on hood before I purchased-barely noticeable. I installed a heat pad under hood for protection after I purhcased the car. Some paint open in my garage and ran down the front passenger headlight (see photos) barely noticeable. 3 cracks in dash, but not a distraction (it was like this when I purchased the car). 1 small tear on driver's side seat (was there when I purchased the car). No other tears - rest of interior is perfect. Antenna goes up and down manually; automatic motor needs to be replaced (it was like this when I purchased the car). Sometimes the radio will change to AM from FM when the lights are turned on -should be an easy fix, otherwise Radio/Cassette work well.
Includes: owner's manual and new California registration good thru May 2017. No smog certificate required. Good on gas! Excellent Bio-diesel candidate.
