Non-Running 1986 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL Diesel with many nearly new parts.
1986 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Description
After rebuilding the front suspension with new shocks, all joints, nd bushings, he vacuum pump failed and the vehicle sat for long enough for the fuel to go stale. I replaced the vacuum pump (a $350 part) and ran into the stale fuel problem. I have a bad back, o working on a car for a day takes me out of commission for a few days, hich isn't much fun.The brakes are good all the way around. This was my wife's daily driver for a couple years. As far as I can tell it just needs a battery, ires, ome fresh fuel, nd someone willing to replace the filters (which have already been purchased), low the old fuel out of the system, nd check for any damage or debris from the vacuum pump failure, he cam gear looked good when I replaced the pump. However, here is the chance that the vacuum pump failure damaged the engine. Vehicle does not run right now, nd will need to be towed. Vehicle is on non-operation status with no back fees, old as is, here is. Title is clear if I can remember correctly, owever it may be salvage, 'm not entirely certain. I have misplaced the title and the vehicle will be sold on a paperless title transfer form.
