PLEASE READ: I am listing this for a family member as they do not have an eBay Account. The car is real and I live in the same town and it is as pictured in the photo's as I did take most of the pictures for him. The car is Located in Blackfoot Idaho 83221 for shipping quote purposes.
We just relisted at a reduced price.
Please keep in mind this car is listed as a convertible on the title and it does not have a top and is just open, so if you have it transported you may want to consider a covered transport.
According to the current owner, the prior owner was going to build a customized removable hard top but never got that completed, so now you at least know what the original vision was in building this. Once again the car is wide open on top, it does not have a soft top.

1949 Mercury convertible two door. This car runs and drives, and turns a lot of heads. I will highlight just a few of the upgrades to the vehicle, it has french'd headlights, shaved door handles, 59 Cadillac taillights, chopped top, lowered front end, body sits on 72 Buick Skylark running gear with Buick 350 motor, and many more items to list. Seller does have some old original parts, and also brand new parts like weather stripping and all sorts of stuff waiting to be put on the vehicle. The parts alone are worth a lot separate. Seller also has bumpers for the car and the grille but some of the pics do not show them.
Will only sell to the Lower 48 United States no over Seas or out of Country bidders or sales.Seller has the Idaho title free and clear so the car will not go anywhere, ship or be picked up until the funds have cleared. I want a safe transaction for both of us so whether you pick it up in person, which is my preference and bring cash or go to my bank while your bank wires the money while we stand in the lobby. Whatever scenario the payment must be clear before the Seller hands the title and vehicle over.This car is also for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as it is listed elsewhere to local buyers.
