This 1979 Cougar XR-7 is in great shape. The 351 (5.8L) V8 purrs like a kitten and has plenty of get up and go. The exterior landau vinyl top and matching padded "Continental" trunk lid show very little to no wear. The two-tone interior is in excellent shape.Note: the clock and temp gauge are not currently working.
The color keyed styled road wheels look just like they did from the factory in 1979. There are a few small dents in the chrome wheel well moldings. The black paint is original and still very shiny; however, it has a number of nicks and scratches. They don't show up in photos, but you see them in person. Once it gets a good repaint, it will look like 2 million dollars instead of its current one million. It is rust free, which is always good news!Be prepared to say "thank you" many times in correlation to the compliments this car receives.
