1966 Mercury Comet Caliente Description

I have for auction a 1966 Mercury Comet/Caliente Convertible. The car runs, drives and stops. The car has a 289 v8 with a 4bbl holly carb, and dual exhaust. It turns heads and brings conversation where ever I go. Its really fun to drive. There is very minimal rust in the pans and the trunk, its a great foundation to fix back to 100%, or drop the top and rip it around town as is.
Over all she is fun to drive but as you can see she most definitely needs body work. I bought this car from a young kid who loved the car, and drove the car everyday as a daily driver. But being young, i think he neglected the car. (just my opinion)
The car was backed into when it was parked in front of his house, as you can see the damage in the drivers side quarter panel. A quarter panel is about $150.00. The drivers door was dented as well and that's why the paint is chipping.
The car needs body work. There are dings and dents all over it.
Like I said she runs and drives could use a tune up, don't know when the last time it had one.
The front end needs to be redone, Shocks, ball joints ect...
SHE IS A GREAT CAR, Im am not going to nit pick it to death, but yes she is going to need some love.....
Hit me up if you have questions, and like always my reserve is fair.
Thank you
