1963 Mercury Meteor Custom Description

For Sale. 1963 Mercury Meteor Custom 4-door sedan. 260 c.i. V8 engine. 3-Speed manual (3 on the tree) transmission. Original car with 118,000 miles. Runs nice and smooth with good power. Shifts nice and easy with no grinding of the gears. I am the 4th owner and was told the 2nd owner rebuilt the motor at 99,000 miles. No paperwork, but the engine area is clean and there are no leaks of any kind. Body is in great shape with no rust through anywhere. No evidence of any rust repair anywhere. Interior is original except front seat bottom material. I just had that redone using new old stock material. High dollar ceramic tinted windows to protect the interior. Everything works as it should… radio, cigarette lighter, wipers, heat. The gas gauge only reads ½ when it is full. All other gauges and warning lights function properly.

Exterior color is Peacock Turquoise and the interior color is Medium Turquoise Metallic with Light Turquoise Metallic. Car was sold new in the York/Hastings area of Nebraska. 2nd owner was in Iowa. 3rd owner was in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Car still has the original dealer sticker on the trunk lid. Mercury only made this car for two years so you don’t see them very often. The meteor was based off of the Fairlane so mechanical parts are easy to come by.

I am selling the car so I can buy a vintage wagon. Call me @ 801-809-0250 with any questions you have. I have many pictures and can send more if needed. Clear Utah title in hand. Thank you.

Make sure you have "whoevers" permission to buy the car if you place a bid. I will make myself available for anyone wanting to see the car in person. Your bid is to Buy the car, not come look at it after the auction. I Do Not Need Any Help Selling My Car.
