1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible, 428 CJ V8 engine, Ram air induction,4 speed close ratio Manual transmission, this cougar retains its original drive train, 1 of only 31 made 1969 XR-7 428 Ram Air Four Speed Convertibles! less than 10 are known to still exist!thisbeautiful frame off restoration was done by Tom & Kurt Lawrance out of Danville, Virginia and finished around 2014,I believe this car to be 1 of 4with the blue w/ white leather & top AND the only 1 of 4 to have 3.50 rear gear ratio, this car was built in Dearborn Michigan on November 26th, 1968, was sold onDecember 7th, 1968, dealership was Lindskog Mercury Inc. Libertyville Illinois, exterior color is Bright Blue Metallic (Ford #3077-A) and interior is white leather bucket seats w/blue appointments, white power top, traction-Lok differential, goodyear F70-14 wide oval belted tires, power windows, center console, power front disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo radio, deluxe belts/warning lights, styled steel wheels, parade boot, hide away headlights, body is laser straight, paint is beautiful and show quality, undercarriage is equally as beautiful, chrome/stainless look great, all seals/moldings are good, interior is all correct and very nice, the cougar starts every time and is a blastto drive, thisis truly a very special car! this cougar will enhance any serious car collection! this car can be taken to any car show event and not only draw big crowds but bring home a trophy!
