1966 Mercury Monterey Description

This barn find is actually a garage find. The body is in very nice condition, the only rust is in the dog legs behind the rear doors the interior other than the carpet is nearly immaculate. All of the door panels Dash headliner back seat everything is very nice the driver seat does have some stitching that is starting to pop if you need more pictures please ask. The frame is good the floors are good structurally this is a very sound car. The 390 runs excellent the transmission shifts perfect it has new brakes all the way around including wheel cylinders and master cylinder. I have the original wheels and hubcaps with whitewall tires or the Polish torque thrust it will be the buyer's choice. So when you win let me know which Wheels you would like. This is a pretty plain Jane wagon doesn't have a lot of extra trim. Has very nice patina. All original interior and the paint. 93000 actual miles. Clean title. Power steering power brakes automatic. The third row seat could be added as the brackets are there although this car never had that. Everything on the car works except the horn. It has the two-way tailgate, the power rear window works from the key and the switch on the dash all of the lights work dash lights turn signals the heater works excellent even the original radio works. A very rare car in very rare condition. If you have questions feel free to call me at 425-760-6680. If you want more pictures feel free to ask because I have tons of them. I am looking for a happy buyer so let's communicate about this car.

somebody asked me a question which I can't believe I forgot to put this but I did. The question was, does this 390 have the typical exhaust manifold leaks? The awnser is no, when the car is running you cannot even tell it is running it is so quiet and smooth. It is absolutely amazing.
