1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Description

VERY CLEAN 1989 Grand Marquis Colony Park wagon. Records indicate 169k, but car looks more like 69k miles. I searchedfor manyyears to find one in this condition at this price, and I have not been disappointed. I bought thisin Kansasa couple months agoand drove it over 11 hours to Michigan. Fluids stayed full and it rides like a cloud.

Unfortunately, my wife was extremely unthrilled with the surprise. After a few rounds of therapy, I agreed to put it back on the market.

This thing is beautiful inside and out! A couple dings and scrapes, but still is an eye-catcher. Has power driver and passenger split bench seats, cruise control, power windows, locks, antenna, rear window defrost, power rear window, swing open as well as fold down rear gate. AC blows cold, heat blows hot. INTERIOR IS PERFECT! No bad odors. My son says the carpet feels like bear fur. New speakers, pioneer aftermarket stereo with remote. Runs as well as it looks. 302 has plenty of power. Trans overhauled in 1998 with few miles driven since. Has brand new calipers and pads up front. Rebuilt A/C system. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. All new parts put on between May and June of this year. New fuel pump installed last October. READY TO DRIVE ANYWHERE!

The only issues I know of include: Tires will need to be replaced soon (getting close to treadwear indicators, but you can still drive it anywhere), the rear (way back) window goes down with key but notwith driver switch, the front passenger lock needs some lube, and when I took it to the oil change shop they indicateda valve cover gasket has a tiny leak ($200-300 fix for gasket at a shop).

I am willing to drive for a couple hours to deliver, meet at the airport, or work with a shipping company.
