1974 MG MGB Description

It is rare to find a Classic MGB in this kind of condition with these options. Fitted with rare wire wheels and more.
This was restored by the last owner 10 years ago and just recently had a thorough reconditioning to make sure it is ready for many years with its next owner. Starting with a good shell, the car was stripped down with all trim removed and treated to a full respray in regency red, a very rare color. Most of chrome and brightwork was either replated, replaced or polished and refitted. A classic MGB grill was fitted at this time also and eared knock offs, which while not strictly original, are features of the cars from the 1960s and fit the Classic look of this car better.
The interior was fully redone with new carpets, panels, and seats. A full new dash was fitted, not a dash cap. Also a new Robbins top was installed.
The mechanicals were not forgotten either. New gas tank, and New brake work was just done. New clutch hydraulics were installed as well. The wheels were replaced with chrome wire wheels along with new hubs, knock-offs and the car was fitted with new tires and tubes a few years ago. In the engine bay, the low mileage engine was checked, found to be in excellent condition, so was just regasketed and fitted with all new externals including rebuilt carbs, all new ignition parts, belt, hoses, mounts etc.
This car runs, drives, and looks good. I am not sure you could find a better and more tasteful MGB for the money. It combines all the later updates that made the car so much better to drive, such as All Syncro gearbox, face level ventilation, more comfortable seats, better top, but with all the look of the more Classic MGB and its 1960's good looks.
