1979 MG MGB B Description

This great classic even has factory overdrive which was only available on 10% of cars built that year. I can't imagine trying to drive on a highway without it! I have invested a ton of time and money on rebuilding this classic.
Exterior: Original Arizona rust free car with 95,000 original miles. The body is straight as an arrow and in a condition usually not seen on cars this old. Good paint. New Tonneau cover.
Interior: Includes newly installed full carpet set, seat upholstery, 4pc front seats foam set, 2 seat webbings, headrest covers, 7 piece trim panel set, door rail cover kit, cockpit rail cover, shift boot, rug snap set, trim screw set and door panel clips.

Mechanical: New Weber Carburetor, with new intake manifold and exhaust header and complete new exhaust system. New valve cover gasket, new side cover gaskets. New thermostat and antifreeze and all new replacement fluids in all mechanical components. Also have all original fuel system parts which include carburetor, air cleaner, manifold, air pump and catalytic converter. Every piece of mechanical rubber and all hoses have been replaced within the last year.
Brakes: All brakes totally replaced with new front pads and new rear brake shoes and new rear brake cylinders and all soft lines replaced with new hoses. Rebuilt brake master cylinder.
Clutch: All new hydraulic system which includes new clutch master, new hard lines and flex hoses and slave cylinder.
Electrical: New overdrive switch, hazard switch, fan switch and new gauge bulbs.
Have extra roof, original jack and tools. Original white car repainted yellow really catches the eye. Hagerty Classic Car Insurance puts the value of the car at $7900. It appears the throw out bearing needs to be replaced. Cost for a new heavy duty three piece clutch kit with heavy duty clutch disk, pressure plate and throw out bearing is $160 from Moss Motors.
