1970 MG MGB Base Description

Beautiful 1970 MGB roadster for sale with 38,000 actual miles.A top flight / quality British sports carthat hasreceive a full restorationto perfection.Glenn’s MGB & Restorationdida vast majority of the work and a binder with all receipts and details will be included with the sale.

1970was a highlydesirable year forthe Mark II series. Out of the 31,400production, only 22,500 came overto North America for both the MGB/ GT model. This would be 4.5% of total production over the 18 years, not to mention it being the onlythat MG offered the split rear (or quarter) chrome bumpers whichonly enhances the MKII series. It also came with an aluminum bonnet (hood) versus the heavy steel ones that were offeredin years prior.

The Torch Red paint sparkles and shines with a deep luster.I kept the original chrome bumpers because they are in very good condition; however, there issome slightpitting due toage.Moss and others carry the front replicas, but the splits are no longer offered. There is absolutely no ruston the bodyor undercarriage, and the photos represent the impeccable condition. It starts, shifts and performsefficiently on all levels without incident. I would not hesitate to drive it cross Country, it's that tight.
