1958 MG MGA RWD Description

1958 MGA roadster for sale. Original color is turquoise. It appears to have been repainted, but the car must have been stripped, as there is not a lot of paint on the car. The paint was peeling on the cowl and it has been roughly primed to protect. This vintage MGA has been sitting for many years. The original 1500cc engine does not turn over. I have put Kriol in the cylinders. The dash and all the gauges are in tact. The seat upholstery looks ok, but the foam and wooden bottoms need to be replaced. The car does not appear to have suffered from collision damage. It has a nice grill. The front bumper and rear bumpers have some rust. The doors close nicely and the alignment is good. The hood, although straight, needs to be re-aligned. It has an aftermarket steering wheel and shifter knob. The gearbox “dry shifts” ok. The under carriage looks solid, including the frame. The top frame and side curtains are missing. It does have spare tire and wheel. Odometer reads 22K miles. With the asking price of $7500.00 ( buy it now), I will include a MGB 5 main bearing engine (1800cc) and matching gearbox out of a post ’68 car. We are selling this used MGA “as is”, with no implied.
