1978 MG MGB -- Description

**RELISTING* NO RESERVE...1978 MGB with only 58326 original miles!
First of all, as you can see in the pictures, I have not cleaned the car. It looks a lot better when it's clean. I added new pictures that just took on Saturday July 8th 2017. The car is in a strong running condition. Very solid and handles very well. Very well maintained and all maintenance done by a well known and very reputable mechanic shop in town! It is a lot of fun to drive. The soft top is almost new. Also has a Parrish hardtop, that is in a great condition, as seen in some pictures. Tonneau/boot cover for the soft top. Car cover. Custom seats with built in speakers. Detachable stereo. The luggage rack has been removed by the previous owner, but it's included. Battery kill switch. There are some scratches and a crack on the front front right side lip as seen in picture.
We are the third owners. Need to sell so we can buy our son a school car.

The only concern we had before buying it, was that the 3rd gear sometimes pops out if you let go the Shifter and previous owner claimed it's nothing to worry about and it is normal for that era of MGBs. After checking on the MGB forums, we saw more than a few with the same issue! It had never bothered me since I always keep my hand on the Shifter.
New slave cylinder and master cylinder replaced recently. We bought the whole kit that included the clutch from VectoriaBritish.com. The clutch was tested good and has no problems. So, we still have a brand new clutch in its box included with the purchase as well.
This is a great and enjoyable classic car. It is a definite head turner!Message me with any questions.
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the close of auction and the remainder in full payment within 7 days of close of auction.
This is a 39 year old classic. I tried to the best of my knowledge and per the mechanic shop evaluation to describe the car. The car is sold as is with no warranty. The car is available for your viewing and inspection. I recommend the buyer to have the car inspected before committing to bidding.
Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping. I can assist with any way I can.
Car is listed locally as well.

Thank you for looking and bid with confidence!
