1960 MG MGA Description

1960 MG MGA 1600 Roadsterwhich actuallyhas the larger1800 CC engine installed in it approximately 20 years ago by the second owners. We are the third owner. I bought this car from thesecond owner two years ago who owned it for 25 years.She and her late husband changed the engine when the original went south and upgraded it to the bigger 1800 for more power.Everything works with the exception of the gas gauge. It is a sweet ride and is mechanically sound.I wouldn't be afraid to take it on long road trips.The paint job was done about17 years ago and still looks very good. There is one paint blemish on the right front fender which can be seen in the photo.There are a few scratches but the car still looks great. The interior was redone last year with new seat covers. The black convertible top has a paint blemish or something on the clear rear window portion. I never put the top up so I wasn't too concerned about it.I think you can see it in one of the photos. I have more photos and information for serious buyers. This is a great opportunity to buy a fabulous MGA in good condition, looks great, runs great and priced very reasonably for someone looking for a fun drive. I'm retiring and I need to move some of my carcollection.
