1974 chrome bumper MGB for sale. I bought this MGB because I enjoy working on these cars and my garage was empty and calling out for a new project. However, I have just moved and do not currently have a garage, so I have decided to move this on to the next owner.
I bought it from the previous owner who had it sitting in his garage for several years. It has a rebuilt title because I believe it has been hit back in the 1980’s but that was quite a while ago, so I really wasn't bothered by that.
I first took it to a local British car garage to get it checked out and running. They went through the car, installed new front and rear brakes, rebuilt the steering rack and adjusted the suspension, adjusted the carb and valves, went through the wiring and sorted that out, among other items (approx. $2,500). I drove it for a month or so and then decided to start working on it in my garage. I have put in a new interior (carpet, door cards, leather seats, etc.), did a bit of body work, and then we moved. It is now sitting in storage here in New Smyrna Beach, FL and needs a bit of work to finish up. For more details and pictures, go to 1920lakeside.com.
