1972 MG MGB Description

This MG roadster is a top-quality build from an original 1972 MGB using the original body, but with none of the mechanical issues that come from the old English engines and internal components. It has over $18,000 worth of upgrades, and gets compliments from other motorists just about every time I take it out of the garage.
First and foremost is the motor. This car has a new Nissan CA18DET 1.8 liter engine with a Garrett T25G Turbocharger (same engine that was used in the 90s Nissan 240sx). Power is rated at 200 hp, and that's more than enough for this little roadster. It has a 5 speed manual, engine management and tuning hardware, upgraded suspension, upgraded brakes, and upgraded comfort (see the entire list below).
Other enhancements include the dash from a 1977 MG, seats and side mirrors from a Mazda Miata, MG-C bulged hood, custom bumper with ST valance and early-style grill, a Sony Stereo with CD changer and Pioneer speakers with a Kenwood subwoofer and more. The windshield and cloth top are brand new, and new chrome side molding and visors come with the car.
This is an AMAZING MGB that combines classic British style with high-performance components. It has been upgraded in just about every way possible. Here's the complete list of the work that has been done:

As a project car, there are still improvements that can be made and small items to fix. One item that does need to be fixed is a crack in the front valence (caused by a shipping company), I have the replacement valence which is included with the car, it just needs to be painted and mounted. But overall this is a great car to just take out in the sun and drive, it is truly a one of a kind car. It has never been raced but was built to be a fun, exciting street car. It was built to be DRIVEN! It is super quick and a blast to drive!
