1953 MG T-Series Description

Brought out of storage recently, last driven in 1976 this 1953 MGTD Mark ll is the competion version of this MGTD with dual Andrex Lever shocks on all four wheels, chrome Radiator grille insert, 1 1/2" SU Carbs, different gear ratio on rear end, different hood, dual electric fuel pumps, grab bar in passenge compartment, and badging. Dealer option were the Wellworthy aluminum Al-fin brake drums with wire wheels. This car has a finned aluminum oil pan and a luggage rack mounted on the rear. Side Curtains are there as well as the front bumper and guards. There is an extra top. The engine is not running and not original to the car. The engine will need to be rebuilt. This is a Calif car, the wood is excellent and there is no rust. Cool old car ready to restore or make it run and have fun. The car can be seen in Laguna Hills Calif.
