I am listing this car for an elderly family friend. The below is based on what I have been told about the car and my own observations while photographing it.
The car was restored prior to the current owner's acquisition in 2006 and it appears to have been very well executed. The car has been maintained in a purpose-built, heated collection-space since. The owner is a collector and enthusiast.
There is no evidence of rust, nor other decay.
The owner's mechanic informs me that the car runs well and recently had the brake system gone-over, including full flush. Pictures of the engine show that a refresh might be in order to bring the car to concourse level, but it remains fully operational.
The body and paint are very nice, with a few exceptions. There is a ding in the hood where the two sections meet (shown in one of the last two photos); there is a spider crack in the paint on the driver's side front fender (shown in one of the last two photos)--perhaps from a stone impact; there are also some light scratches--likely cleaning marks--on the driver's side front fender that were noted while photographing the car, but faint enough that they were difficult to capture in photos. Overall the car presents exceptionally well and the owner mentioned showing it at the Elegance at Hershey in the past.
The odometer reads 61,873.
As previously noted, I am facilitating this sale for an elderly family friend. I mention this so that the buyer is aware that I am not the owner of the car. Please keep this in mind as I may need to communicate with the owner to answer questions or arrange viewing, title transfer and payment.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
If the car is to be shipped, all arrangements are to be made by the buyer and at the buyer's expense. The car does not leave until paid in full. I strongly encourage that you utilize a reputable company that is both bonded and insured.
