1974 MG MGB ROADSTER Description

Clean, California rust-free 1974 MG B roadster. All-original two-owner convertible originally purchased new at the decades-defunct Union Jack MG British cars of Hayward, CA. Owned by my in-laws since new, given to us five years ago.
Kept always in the garage by them, and by us.

Completely stock 1.8L engine runs EXCELLENT. 87K original miles, and it runs as such. Items serviced since last summer include:
* New convertible top
* ANSA exhaust

* New radial tires* NARDI steering wheel* H.O alternator
* New battery
* Fuel pump
* Clutch slave cylinder
* New MOSS carpet kit
According to my father-in-law, the engine had some sort of rebuild/ overhaul around 2012, but as I do not have invoices reflecting such, we are selling it as just with its original 87K miles. It runs great. We had a complete new clutch assembly from MOSS Motors installed in 2017. Besides that, basic items such as belts, hoses, a BRITPART starter and other miscellaneous.

The body is in remarkable shape ( reflecting its garaged life), with NO dents, dings, accidents or rust issues. I think my in-laws had it refinished once previously ( in the same original orange color).
Clear California title with no issues. SMOG EMISSION EXEMPT. Stored indoors ( except to take the photos, and it got rained on!), as we do not really drive much, and since my wife is expecting, it collects dust in the garage.

It needs a new owner that can take it out and drive it as it was meant to. Turn-key MGB, cheaper than a $30K restoration ! Priced right at $13,900 or best offer.

I am also advertising this vehicle in other venues, and as such, reserve the right to end this listing at any time, should a serious offer present itself.

Clean metal-bumper early MGs are getting harder and harder to find, specially in original, unaltered condition.

I will be glad to assist coordinating shipping of the MGB anywhere nationwide or overseas, at the most economical shipping rate available. Please keep in mind, I do not control transporter pick-up or delivery times; that is pending weather conditions and shipping/ trucking delivery schedules.

I will do everything I can on my end to ensure and expedite delivery at the most financially sensible rate on the market.

Should you be the winning bidder, I would like to receive payment within THREE business days, please. Payment can be made via cashier's check or certified funds.

Personal, business or annuity checks may be utilized, but must clear funds first, prior to any transportation arrangements being made. If you have questions or would like to discuss other payment arrangements be sure to contact me prior to placing a bid.

An alternate method of payment can be done via bank wire transfer to my local CHASE Bank branch here in town. It is a very simple process, and it helps expedite delivery of the car.

Upon receipt of payment, I will mail you the CA title and a Bill of sale to the MGB.

EM or call me with questions or serious inquiries. Thank you all for your interest!
