Rare in the U.S. Austin/Rover Maestro MG editionImported from the Netherlands (hence left hand drive) now licensed and registered in NC. Clear NC title in hand.1275A+ BMC engine (same as MG Midget, AH Sprite, and old Minis) 5 spd trans. switched out from later year Montego.Mechanically great condition no problems. Recent: tune-up (plugs and wires) oil change, new water pump, new altenator. Parts are available through eBay's UK site.Set up to "look" like a ralyee car, but it's just a basic FWD car. Fog lights are not hooked up. comes with nice Thule bike rack (removeable)With rear hatch and fold down seats has amazing cargo space.Great car for the British car guy who doesn't want to take their MG, Triumph, Austin, or Jag to the store to run errands.cons: headliner sags (tacked up) dash has small cracks (patched up sorta) The wheels are alloy MG whells of the same size however there are 2 one style and 2 another.All original documents from the Netherlands : registration/license/inspection data etc. Has original owners manual and warranty books. Original Phillips am/fm radio (sounds really bad)Decals indicate it was probably a MG/Rover promotional car as the original owner worked for Rover.Custom exhaust with a glass-pack for the center muffler and a BSA motorcycle muffler in the rear.Please ask questions and only bid if serious.
