1956 MGA Red on Black Driver Quality Convertible
1956 MG MGA Description
1956 MGA Convertible for Sale By Owner
Excellent Driver Quality Classic MGA
Most desired color combination Red on Black
Over $6,000 invested in the last 18 months in repairs and improvements at a well known English specialty shop, Ragtop and Roadsters. It has a new top, new tonneau cover, new brakes, a recent tune up, new hydraulics (brake and clutch), shocks rebuilt, lower A arms, master cylinder, slave cylinder, carbs rebuilt, rebuilt engine 3 years ago, oil pressure at 60 lbs during idle with no signs of smoke, runs great, starts great, shifts and drives great. Body is solid and rust free but can use a repaint as the paint is old and starting to fade. A couple minor chips and blemishes and I have tried to show these in the photos. Doors shut excellent and all gages and wipers and lights and blinkers work as intended and this is shown in my videos. Interior looks excellent with new seats and carpet. New battery, floor boards, new side curtains but one of the plexiglass windows is broken. Tires are good. Chrome is good to excellent. I have receipts for the recent repairs totaling over $1700 in 2017 and another $6,000 spent in 2018. This is a good driver quality car. Can be driven and enjoyed as is or would be a great candidate for a restoration/repaint. The car is being advertised locally so it may sell before the end of the auction. If you have an interest in purchasing the car before the end of the auction, please contact me and we can discuss. The car is located in my heated hangar in Siren, Wisconsin. It comes with a clear title. This MGA is a 63 year old classic car so it is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. I welcome inspections if you are in the area. Call me for any further questions or if you care to see the videos or any other photos. Thank you for your interest and best of luck bidding. Jan 952-457-8437.
