New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1957 MG MGA 1500 2 Door Roadster with red exterior paint and a very nice black vinyl interior. You’ll find an 1800cc four cylinder engine under the hood with a mild cam and a full syncromesh 4-speed manual transmission, and this classic sports car delivers very nice performance at virtually any speed. With an ultra-clean interior and some serious curb appeal, this great driver must be seen in person in order to be truly appreciated.

Only 10,000 Miles on Rebuilt 1800cc Motor & Drivetrain

The current owner of this 1957 MG MGA 1500 Roadster took possession back in 2006 as the 3rd lifetime owner and he informs us that he was drawn to this particular example due to its excellent ride quality. The 1800cc engine is from an MGB model and it’s been rebuilt and lightly performance tuned within the last 10,000 miles. Out on the open road, this example has impressive acceleration, smooth handling and very nice cornering, plus an immaculate period-correct engine compartment for taking in local shows. It needs nothing mechanically to be enjoyed immediately.

Additionally, this 1957 MG MGA 1500 2 Door Roadster has a beautiful flowing exterior with only minimal signs of blemishes there are a few minor scratches and chips to the paint but nothing that really takes away from its curb appeal. The refreshed interior looks excellent as well with super clean seating, original gauges and spotless carpeting. The soft top is also in great condition and works properly with a tight seal.
