Dallas Motorsports presents this restored 1946 MG TC that has just arrived at our facility!
This MGTC, EBT 610 was delivered new to the East Riding Constabulary in Yorkshire, England. After it had finished its police work, it was bought by two brothers in Beverley, Yorkshire who ran it up until 1966. At this time, they decided to let the car rest and preserve it for the future. They designed a large packing crate to put the car in and in order to preserve the car, they covered all of the metal parts with WD40. The packing crate was then stored in a detached garage for several years until the 1980s. With Documentation that dates back several decades, this MG TC is showing as a 6-Owner car, which also includes the Sheriff of Yorkshire, England.
A light restoration was performed at Naylor Brothers Restorations in West Yorkshire, England about 25 years ago. Some of the documentation we have for this MG TC includes: pictures of the original owner with the car, previous bills of sale and copies of previous English Titles/Registration. Recent maintenance to the car includes: a new gas tank and fresh fluids. The overall condition of this MG TC could be considered similar to that of a concourse level, mint condition car. It is without a doubt, on of the nicest examples on the market currently for sale.
