Offered for sale from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this nice condition MGB Chrome Bumper Roadster. This car was just purchased from a dealer in Texas who recently purchased it from an older gentleman in the local MG Car Club there. It's a very nice, clean, straight car with nice cosmetics and good mechanicals. Please view the video above to see the car in action here in sunny California.The body on this car looks very good overall with decent panel gapping and no signs of an accident. The car appears to be wearing a single modest repaint in it's attractive factory Blaze Orange color. Paintwork is very presentable and glossy only showing a few small chips here and there from normal use. Chromework is nice with very decent original main front and rear bumper bars, with the remaining brightwork quite excellent. The windshield has been replaced at some point with a newer item. Rubber is good.The car's interior is in very good to excellent shape. Seats are very comfortable and supportive and appear excellent originals or are beautifully reupholstered in the original style kits. The dashboard is very nice with a full array of working instruments. Carpets have been renewed and look good. The car's interior panels look to be excellent originals. The black crush-grain vinyl soft top and top boot are also in great shape and fit the car very well. Two-point lap belts are fitted for safety and look newer.Mechanically, the car feels very good. The healthy engine starts easily with little choke on the upgraded Weber car, that actually performs very well once warmed. Oil pressure is stable and healthy, along with a good clean exhaust note and no smoke or noises. The clutch, gearbox, brakes, steering and suspension all feel great with no issues. All of the car's fluids are up to the mark. The car could benefit from shocks down the road, as there is some excessive lean when pushed hard into corners...Tires are grippy, quality Michelin radials. The car runs and drives very well and is lots of fun out on the road! The car includes its original lifting jack, lug wrench, small box of spares, and a host of parts receipts from Victoria British Ltd, as well as repair orders.Overall, this attractive Blaze Orange MGB Roadster is just in time to be enjoyed for this summer. It's a pretty Chrome Bumper model in very nice condition overall and is great value for a ready to go classic British roadster.
