1974 MG MGB Description

Up for auction is my 1974 MGB. I've been working on her for sometime and have done much work and spent many dollars on her as you'll read in the auction. Last year of the chrome bumper MGB's. Don't have any time to finish her so my loss is your gain. This is a NO reserve auction so she is going to the highest bidder at auctions end. Mechanical's: Starts right up with no smoke and holds good oil pressure. Has the standard 4 speed manual transmission ( no overdrive ).Work completed in the last 8 months / 50 miles included the following: Complete tune up which including new points, spark plugs, oil change, new oil filter, new K&N air filter,valve job, head gasket, oil pan gasket, new radiator, new hoses, new coolant, new thermostat, new radiator cap, new heater control valve, new temp sending unit, new stainless steel oil cooler lines and a new battery was installed. Other recent items include a new DVG 2 barrel carburetor and a new chrome "Trophy" exhaust system.
Electrical's:AT last check all lights and indicators where in working order. Gauges: All correct "Smith" gauges are working, have clear glass and shinny chrome bezels.
Interior:Is in very, very nice condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. New items include: Seats, headrest, door panels, window winders, carpet, carpet under felt / padding, armrest, ashtray shift boot, chrome shift retainer ring, sun visors and aircraft style chrome lap belts. Note: I have a new set of door caps and chrome mounting hardware for the next owner to install which will complete the interior. Exterior: Nice driver quality car. Drive her as is or paint her ( choice is yours ). The wheels where repainted and new chrome trim rings, MG logo center caps, all new chrome lug nuts installed ( wrapped in like new quality radial tires ) and new front turn signals installed.The car sits evenly / squarely on the ground with no visible signs leaning or sagging. The rocker panels are solid / original and in nice condition. New 6 piece chrome molding strips, new wiper blades and new door side mirrors Underbody:The under body is in nice / original / solid condition. Soft Top: She comes with a White soft top is in good / fair serviceable condition and a top cover. Trunk:The trunk is rock solid as seen in the photos.
