Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this lovely MGA Roadster in a unique and attractive color scheme. This car was just purchased out of a car collection in Colorado. It received a ground-up, body-off-the-chassis total restoration approximately 10-15 years ago with limited mileage since then. Today, it's accrued some test mileage and is well sorted. It's stunning in it's striking custom color scheme and drives very well down the road.The bodywork and paint on this car still present beautifully with hardly any flaws. It's finished in a basecoat/clearcoat system and has been color sanded and buffed to a nice finish. The dark green fender piping is a very nice touch. Exterior details of it's restoration include all new or replated chromework, rubber kit, new windshield, light lenses, etc.The car's interior is the same story here. Everything has been renewed where possible. Seats are finished in a quality biscuit vinyl with correctly upholstered matching dashboard facia and top covering. The panel kit, carpet kit, black AMCO soft top, sidescreen set have all been renewed. There's the added bonus of 3-point harness seatbelts for added safety. The car's trunk compartment received the upgraded carpet dress-up kit.Mechanically, the car is superb. It retains it's correct 1622cc engine that starts easily on the starter pull. The entire driveline is believed to have been rebuilt during the restoration. The engine behaves perfectly and revs very well with good power out on the road. It's coupled to a very good gearbox. The car is a great performer with good brakes, suspension, steering, clutch, etc. It rolls along nicely on it's 60-spoke wire wheels with slightly taller tires and is longer-legged with it's taller axle. The car's underside is exceptionally clean showing just minimal miles on the restoration.Overall, an excellent, desirable, and rare MGA MK2 Roadster in attractive colors and fitted with chrome wire wheels. This car presents and drives well, and is surely very good value as a final year MK2 model, having been totally restored and is ready to enjoy.
