This 1974 roadster was the final year of production for the pretty chrome bumper cars. This car was just purchased from an airline pilot in New York who was very particular about his cars. The cosmetics on this car are exceptional with the bonus of a rebuilt engine with some improvements.The bodywork and paint on this car are lovely. Clearly the car was professionally painted and finished with great attention to detail on a superb, solid body with great gaps and shutlines. Chromework is all of the excellent original factory items. The windshield is very nice with an excellent aluminum frame.With only the exception of the dashboard, the car’s interior has been 100% renewed with all new quality trim kits. The seats are beautifully upholstered, a new panel kit and carpet kit has been professionally fitted. Everything has been renewed including sun visors, armbars, pull armrests, door seals, shift knob and boot, 2-point lap seat belts, floormats, modern radio. The results are superb.Mechanically, the car is very good to excellent. The engine fitted has been rebuilt with a new Weber carburetor, header set and electronic ignition. The car starts, runs, drives, stops, and steers very well. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The underside looks very good with items well attended to.Overall, a well-restored MGB Roadster in excellent condition showcasing superb, high end cosmetics.
