Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very well preserved MGB Roadster finished in it's original color scheme. This car was recently purchased from it's long term owner couple in Wisconsin that used the car there for their summers months only. It's a nice original with a good looking single repaint in it's original factory color. Mileage on the speedometer shows around 73k, which is convincingly original once you drive the car...Bodywork on this car is very good. Panel fit is excellent all the way around with nice opening and closing doors, hood and trunk lid. There is the typical raise in the LH side of the trunk where the trunk prop slide attaches. There are a few, very small bubbles just starting down low on the front fenders. Paintwork presents well overall. There's the usual small chips around door edges from normal use, and a small scrape in the trunk lid. Brightwork all around is decent to good original items. The windshield has been replaced and is nice, except for a small repair on the passenger's side.The car's interior, soft top, and tonneau cover are all amazingly original and in excellent condition overall. The seats are in really super condition. The dashboard is totally uncracked. The original carpet set is showing some age along with the original rubber floormats. The panel kit is very nice except some minor warpage on the passenger door card. The center console and armrest look very nice. The original soft top, top boot, and tonneau cover look excellent overall. The soft top is nearly perfect with just one small slit.Mechanically, the car is excellent. It starts easily on the key with superb oil pressure, no smoke or noises, revs well, has good clutch action with a crisp-shifting gearbox through all gears. Steering and suspension feel very good. Brakes are OK with good pedal pressure, but I'm sure will improve with some use.The car's underside is exceptionally solid and looks rustfree/normal for a well preserved original, garaged car.Overall, a low mileage and well-preserved MGB Roadster in it's factory color. It drives very well and is great value for a British sports car to get out and drive and have so much fun.
