1973 MG MGB Mk III 2dr Roadster
1973 MG MGB Mk III Description
Priced to sell and just in time for the summer, this car is all original in "unrestored" condition with 94,245 original miles, always garaged. The car is very straight with no accidents, clean title and in overall great shape. Very clean with original paint (Color is Damask Red looks more like a nice maroon in person). Hagerty puts the value of this car in the $16K range and has great investment potential according to Hagerty.
I'm the 3rd owner and previous owner only drove 300 miles in 10 years. 1973 was the last year for Chrome Bumper. This car drives great with nice solid suspension and handles like a british sports car should and will put a smile on your face :)Had a short rebuild a couple of years ago and a recent tune up by a Master MGB Mechanic. The engine runs strong, good compression, starts easily both cold and hot, and does not smoke. The four-speed all-synchro transmission shifts nicely without grinding or slipping.
I've really enjoyed this car for the last couple of years and I'm sure you will too. Make me an offer. Like all MGs it leaks a little oil (very small amount). It has that great British sports car sound and very fun to drive. One other disclosure;the headlight switch needs to be replaced due to some electrical issue so that will need to be fixed by new owner.
If you'd like to take a test drive, I'm in South Orange County CA. Send me a note with your phone number and we can set something.
