1967 MG MGB Description

NO RESERVE! Also, "Buy It Now" option is low for this car (compared to 1967 MGBs in Hemmings, etc.).
This is arguably one of the nicest, original 1967 MGBs you will find. Amazing original condition inside and out. Garage kept - always. I bought her from the lady who purchased heroriginallyat the local dealership here in Reno, NV in 1967. For those who do not know, Reno is a desert town, so this car has no rust. This MGB has been pampered - always. I joke with friends that I do not think she went above 50 MPH until I bought her 3 years ago.
The car has new tires, chrome wire wheels and a Webercarburetor(so adjustments and maintenance are very easy). It has the original 4-speed transmission. The seats are leather and are in great condition, but for the top strips need to sewn/replaced (not a big deal - I just do not have the time now). The pristine dash and interior door panels, etc. are amazing...and, yes, original. Even the original rubber floor liners are in great shape. The original British Motor Company radio actually works, too! Electric engine fan has been installed to keep her cool in summer.
All switches, gauges, lights, heater, fan, wipers, etc. work.
Car runs great, and is very smooth. She is a daily driver. And, as you can see in the pictures, we do not hesitate to take her on weekend trips up around Lake Tahoe, etc. Very dependable and comfortable, and a whole lot of fun.
The car has never been wrecked (again, she's been pampered), but she has been painted a couple of times (various colors, based on the original owner's mood at the time). We are convinced the latest and current gray was an homage to James Bond's Aston Martin! Original color is white, as you can see in the photos of the engine compartment and trunk.
Comes with a hard top (in the photos) and the original soft top, and tonneau cover, both of which fit like a glove.
This car is a real gem.
Good luck bidding. The winner will have one of the finest original 1967 MGBs out there.
This auction is for the 1967 MGB only - TR4A and model in pictures are not included!
