1980 MG MGB Description

1980 MGB with body converted to 1967 body style (front grille, Chrome bumpers, rear light modification panels, Front and rear lowering kit). Garage kept for the last 5 years. New Front and Rear suspension Polyurethane bushings. New front coil spring (lowered 1"), Rear lowering kit installed (lowered 1"). New timing chain, Oil pump, New Cam shaft, Water pump, Recently rebuilt SU carbs, Rebuilt Optical distributor, New head bolts, Valve job and head milled 0.03 to improve compression and power, new exhaust pipe and muffler, new windshield rubber seal. New seat covers and interior trim. Oil pressure 75psirunning/50psiidle. Runs normal temperature with thermostat. New motor mount, Tubular exhaust header, new high voltage coil, new after market electric fuel pump, like new convertible top, new gas tank. New brake master cylinder and rebuilt wheel cylinders. Original engine, transmission and rear end. After market AM/FM radio w/SD Card MP3 player. New speakers. Air pump removed, lines plugged. Spares - Original Weber carb and intake manifold. 4 Speed Tranny.Does NOT have OD. Sold As Is.

Can be driven back home on state and country roads at below 55 MPH. Not recommended to drive on Inter State Highways.

The body was stripped and rusts removed and treated. Some rust still on door top. New primer on whole body and repainted 5 years ago. Need some touch up paint on paint runs. Fun to drive. Test drive welcomed.
