1967 mini cooper, restored, 1275cc, syncrod 4 speed
1967 Mini Cooper Description
I am by no means an expert on Mini Coopers, so if there are any questions you have, please feel free to shoot me a message. I have owned this car for over a year now and I drive it alot during the summer months. It runs and drives very very well. I was told by the previous owner it was restored about 3 or 4 years ago, which appears to be true. The paint is very nice, body panels are very straight and I can see no indication of filler or patched panels. It does have "S" badging and some S upgrades, but I highly doubt it is a true S. It has a 1275cc engine with a single large carb, aftermarket carb spacer and a header. The 4 speed tranny is syncrod and shifts very well with a clutch that engages right off the floor. It is right hand drive and has front disc brakes, hydrolastic suspension, 120mph speedo. The only downfalls is it does not have any wipers (no motor, arms or anything besides the switch inside) temp gauge runs high although the car has never overheated (believe its just the gauge) and I do not have a title for this car, as the state of Maine will not issue a title for a vehicle older than 1995.
This car is on local Craigslist as well as facebook market place, I reserve the right to remove this listing at anytime, and the car is as is where is WITH NO TITLE just bill of sale and current registration. Car is not perfect but its definitely solid and presents itself very well.
Please dont be afraid to ask questions, I want a happy buyer!
