1968 Morris Mini Description

This 1968 Morris Mini give you that original Mini style and feeling that makes it an icon. But as you look over the whole car, you can see that it also gives you a ton more modern conveniences that adds real comfort to your fun.
We know you love the look of these original Minis. This one is a particularly striking example with sharp blue paint, white racing stripes on the hood (bonnet), and a bright white roof that's just ready for a Union Jack. There's even full-length pinstriping with the Mini Cooper logo at the end for a nice touch of class. The original Mini is beloved for their agile handling and rugged mechanicals that dominated rally events of the time. This one pays perfect tribute to that spirit with details like the fog lights and Minilite-style wheels.
Inside, you can really see that this is a later model than its year would suggest. After all, every Mini knew how to maximize its interior space, but where the early ones were sparse, this is quite elegant. You have high-back bucket seats up front with excellent bolstering; there's wood grain trim on the doors and dash; and you have an effective heat/defrost system. There are also some nice modern upgrades, like a selectable horn system and the stereo is now an AM/FM/CD unit with a USB input, Bluetooth, and a flip-up navigation screen. This is a desirable left-hand drive model where the speedometer is also in MPH. You get a grippy sports steering wheel that includes a modern airbag, and the full gauge panel also has a very handy tach.
Under the hood is the correct 1275cc four-cylinder engine. This A+ Series motor is a well-known and widely used powerplant that found a home in plenty of British vehicles. That makes parts availability rather easy. This was the largest engine that could fit in these little cars, and because this was part of the final series, it was even upgraded to fuel injection. That means 60+ horsepower, which is going to give you impressive performance for a car of this size - especially under the control of the four-speed manual transmission. Combine the quick nature with front disc brakes and steering that is so exact it feels telepathic, and you've got in your hands on all the reasons why people are passionate about driving these Minis.
Complete with a service manual, this is the classic style you love with the right modern packaging, too. So if you want a vintage icon that's also much easier to enjoy, call today!
