1953 Nash Rambler Airflyte Coupe
1953 Nash Rambler Airflyte Description
1953 Nash Rambler Airflyte Country Club hardtop coupe, in partially restored condition!
!!Any and all offers are welcome!!
My dad purchased her in June 2017 for $4,500 & put over 4,500$ of work on her since then, between June &August. I have ALL receipts/statements to prove the costs stated above.
-I'm selling this Nash for my father who passed away, so he never finished restoring her after becoming very sick later last year. He purchased her w/ intentions to fully restore this eye-catching classic vehicle.
-Vehicle has current registration & inspection.
-She has all brand new vintage tires (have 75-100 miles on them at most) -- $1,003
-She's got her original chrome refurbished (such as bumper rail, bumper vertical bars, fender moldings &everything else.) The chrome is not on her since he wasn't going to put in on until rust & paint were completed. Pics of the chrome are in the pics though, & are in storage currently wrapped heavily in news paper.--$2,000
-she has a brand new master cylinder.--$354
-Some of the exterior & interior rust work is repaired --$1,200
-Has not been driven much or long distances (meaning no more than approx 20-40 miles at a time for a few test drives) but she seems to drive great! -The original 6Cyl engine is in storage which you can have for free. Not sure what condition it's in because it came w/the car, but not hooked to her.Engine in Nash is in good condition It's a newer engine which is from a Chrysler cruiser boat, so it doesn't have the 81,000+ miles on it as the odometer shows, but we aren't sure how many is on this engine. & transmission is good. No problems with either since June!
-Front seats are not the original seating, but they are in good condition. The back seats are in decent condition. I believe my dad received the original front seating hardware but just not with the fabric attached. I found front seating hardware (metal poles, the seats recline) in storage that looks like it fits and can only fit the Nash, & so many other parts to the Nash in storage, like the locks, handles, extra hub cap, etc etc
-I can't think of any truly "negative" things about her besides she's not fully restored (...yet!), and doesn't have the original motor & seats hooked up to her.
-Everything I've stated is what I know & fully believe to be true to the best of my knowledge.
-If you want her shipped, there's so much to ship w/ her, such as the chrome, original motor & so many parts which will not all fit in the Nash. So we'll probably have to figure out how to do 2 separate shipments. Local pick up is fine too, of course!
-Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have. I'll do my best to answer them.
