1936 Nash Lafayette 2 door Victoria available. This is a very rare car that has come out of an extended storage in a heated and dry facility. It is all factory original except for a driver quality paint job and an amateur upholstery job done in the stock configuration. It has the original flathead 6 cylinder motor which runs and the stock stick transmission. There are no functioning brakes on the car now as the brake systemneeds rebuilding, but all the components are still in the factory assemblies. The car has a very “art deco” appearance to it with the factory reveal lines in the fenders and body, the deco reveal on the sides of the hood, the ornate grille and the deco torpedo style hood ornament. The grille and hood ornament are pristine. You couldn’t hope for a nicer grille and to find even one of these in any condition would be extremely difficult. The body and fenders are very sound. Bumpers are in good condition. Notice the little “dip” in the edge of the door windows. That is a “smokers window” which when the window is rolled down about an inch the dip acts as a vent opening to let smoke out if you are smoking while driving. All the exterior and interior handles are original. The odometer states 73,000 miles and that is most likely original. This car would make an awesome street rod. You would have something that most people have never seen before. I can help arrange shipping but the buyer ships at his cost. Email me if you have further questions.
