GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1928 Nash Advanced Six "362" 7 passenger Roadster for your consideration. Nash was an innovative car company out of Kenosha, Wisconsin founded by former General Motors President Charles Nash. The company thrived and eventually purchased Hudson (in 1954) creating the American Motors Corporation (AMC). Nash's were known for exceptional style and quality for the price. Nash's early claim to fame was producing a crankshaft with 7 main bearings instead of 3 or... 4 like many of its competitors. This allowed for a smooth and silent transition of power. Highlights include Walnut steering wheel and walnut instrument dash board, double beam headlamps controlled from the steering wheel, tool kit, automatic windshield wiper, door pockets, transmission lock with protective cap, foot rest, rubber inlaid running boards. The car comes with stacks and stacks of hard to get shop books and literature along with many trophies the car has won over the years. The car was restored in 1985 and comes with photos of the restoration process. The car also comes with receipts of various work done over the years. The car originated in Vermont and then made its way to New Jersey. The car rides on Firestone 6.50-20 "High Speed" tires and has a rear mounted spare. The convertible top is in excellent condition as well. This is truly a unique and special car and is ready for its next owner.
