LOOKING FOR A REAL Original GASSER
Here’s your chance to own a real deal old Gasser. Clear title in hand.
Rare!! 1954 Nash Gasser built in the mid 60’s hard to find these cars untouched anymore with original patina which are coming back and worth a lot today and collectable if you can find one.
The Nash was raced in the 1960’s many years ago own by William Gulley Jr. who was a racing buddy of Don Garlits this was confirmed by phone though the Garlits museum in Ocala, and also which is confirmed on copy of title with William Gulley name is on it which I have.
The Nash ran a small block injected Chevy in the early 60's then went to a 392 Hemi 4spd later down the road. The Nash was in storage since 1971 then found in 2005 from the previous owner who then put the Hemi in it once again in 2007 HAVE PICS!! . The Nash was registered in 2007 and driven a short time all the lights turn signals work back in 2007 even the gas tank electric fuel pump and battery are still mounted and exist today. The Nash was sold as a roller shortly after because of health reason now a roller as you see it in the pitchers today.
This Nash was built old school and built rough that’s how they did back in the day. There was some updating done on the car years ago the old wheel tubs where pulled out at the time but still needs to be updated and restored. The Nash has great potential solid car and very rare and hard to fine these cars anymore that exist today. The Nash still has the original ‘’magnesium‘’ spindle mount rims up front which are super hard to find worth a lot today.
Body & frame is super solid being the car was in a dry climate all of it life with some minor small rust on rockers and driver door from sitting for many years easy fix. The wheel openings where professionally done many years ago when it was painted they put a ¼ roll formed on the edge of the wheel opening looks factory the paint is still nice for being 50yrs old. It is wired with a 12 circuit panel has some gauges, aluminum 10gal gas tank, electric fuel pump which still exist. This car needs updating and is a project but when finished worth a lot and only 1 of 1 around to exist and worth more left alone and untouched .
Don’t know much about the car other then what I was told when I purchased it but have no time to finish it this is such a cool and different I had to have it. Unfortunately I have to sell it I have to many projects waiting to get done hate to let it go. The reserve is low well worth it again these Gasser cars are hard to find untouched like this one sold as is.
I will try to answer all questions and again this is a project but worth it I have the back window which is perfect and all the trim for the Nash that came with the car and has the factory side windows that are still in the car that roll up and down there is also extra hood not cut out no rust on it but has a small dent in it that goes with the car and another set of spindle’s for 4 ¾ x 5 bolt for Chevy rims .

The rear end has 411 gears new 11''drums and new bake hardware with new brake lines that is what i was told from the previous owner .
