1964 RAMBLER CLASSIC STATION WAGON KENTUCKY BARN FIND (REALLY)
1964 Nash Rambler Description
Kentucky barn find! Rust as you see it.Lug nuts are not the right ones for this vehicle.I hooked up a battery to this and it turned over.I then sprayed some starting fluid in the carb and it fired! I did NOT let it run as the gas in the tank smells like varnish and I did not want to suck any fuel into the system. It will have to be cleaned out as it is right now.Brakes, work but the pedal goes a long way down till it stops.Clutch and transmission are unknown condition, but when going down the road I was able to shift it into third gear just to see if it would engage.I was being towed. It did.All the hubcaps are there. There is one piece of chrome missing, the other piece is in the back. The breather is also in the back.
Windows are all intact and NOT CRACKED OR CHIPPED. Window all operate manually.Interior needs to be replaced. The inside floors are appearing to be solid and it is dry. There is some old carpet that has been glued in the front,I left it alone and just thumped on the floorboards.Electronics are unknown condition.Rear passenger tail light needs replacing.Passenger headlight missing.Any more questions will be addressed in a timely manner.I have been advised this is a 1964....I was told by the owner it was a 65....I will have t get the title changed, sorry for the confusion.I also cannot change the title of the auction for some unknown reason????
