The Safari is the highly sought after variation of the Nissan Patrol.
The Patrol, which began as a utilitarian 4x 4 in the 1950s competed with the Land Cruiser in Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, and Europe.
"Safari" includes the extended roof and the super reliable 4.2L TD42 Diesel known by many as the "million mile engineâ€!
Nissan also chose a coil sprung suspension system along with 4-wheel disc brakes to round out this sweet package.
24 volt system- 2 Brand NEW Interstate Batteries
This truck also has a 4" suspension lift, Safari snorkel, and a roof access ladder.
The other must have items included on this truck are the five speed transmission, sun-roof, 4-wheel disc brakes, and the super cool factory PTO winch!
Brand New 33" Cooper Discovery ATP Tires and 16" rims as of July. Rear Airbag Shocks for large loads, installed August.
Non Conforming VIN #VRGY60601204
The truck runs beautifully. Starts instantly! Recently drove from Colorado to California with no problems. Drove 12 hours straight, only filled up diesel 2 times. I wish I could keep the White Road Whale and turn her into a vegetable oil machine but we must part. I have no quarrel with this vehicle, we have come to times of unexpected expenses and must liquidate. Would love to see this truck go to someone who recognizes the unique story this truck has and will take care of her.
Could use some customizing and a new passenger mirror but other than that she is ready to go for a trip.
Let me know your questions. Thanks for looking :)
