1994 Nissan 300ZX Description

For sale is a 1994 Nissan 300ZX. It is a convertible with an automatic transmission. the V6 engine runs great and has just over 115,000 actual miles.
Overall the car is in good shape. There are a few cosmetic issues that could be addressed but they don't interfere with the way the car runs and drives. The entire car has been "dipped" with a fully removable satin pearl white paint job and the wheels were sprayed dark copper. If you are not familiar with dipping visit dipyourcar.com for all the information you could ever want. Under the white the car is factory "Black Emerald Pearl" with some damage on the passenger fender and an oxidized hood. The front bumper would also need to be painted as it has been replaced and is not painted under the dip. The wheels are originally silver and in great shape under the copper dip with no real damage or curb rash to speak of, and the tires have plenty of tread remaining.
Theconvertible soft top is in OK shape. There is a tear on the small window on the drivers side and the plastic windows are foggy. There is also a 1 inch tear that has been repaired in the top and the weather stripping could use a refresh. The interior is in good shape with the exception of the drivers seat which has a tear (see pics) and the carpet could use a deep cleaning or replacement. The wear isconsistent with the cars age and miles, but if you wanted a perfect car, these things would need to be refreshed. There are many affordable replacement options oneBay to replace these pieces and it would make a great weekend project forsomeone.
All of the electronics work correctly. there is an aftermarket Pioneer stereo installed to the factory bose speakers. The AC works great, power windows, locks, mirrors, andseats all work as expected. The automatic transmission shifts correctly and the cardrives just like it should.
Mechanically the car has beenthoroughlygone through. The 120K service has been performed along with any other items that needed to be addressed. The car starts right up with no hesitation and has plenty of power. There is some play in the frontend still which feels like tie rod ends or something, but you can really only feel it when letting off and on the brakesaggressively. Otherwise the car runs and driveslike it should. It actually passed Nevada smog a few weeks back, so no additional smog checkwould be needed in Nevada. There is an airbag light on that Ihaven't had a chance tosort out yet, but no other lights are on.
In the last monththe following was replaced:
-- Water Pump
-- Timing Belt
-- Timing belt tensioner
-- Timing belt pullies
-- New Fuel Injectors
-- Spark Plugs
-- New Belts
-- Rear brakes
-- New Adjustable Front upper Control arms
-- New Lower control arm Bushings
-- New Battery
-- misc stuff Im forgettingI'm sure
Overall this is a great car that, because of the low productionnumbers, will be a collector someday. Idon'tforeseethe value going down, so its a great car to buy and upgrade/restore while enjoying it. It a prefect time to get a drop top and enjoysomecruising time before the summer heat. Feel free to ask anyquestions. Happy Bidding.
