1993 Nissan 300zx TT
1993 Nissan 300ZX Two-seater Description
For sale, new engine & turbos, clean title, no funny business.Selling because I moved to D.C. and can’t care for the 300zx like I should.
Overview:I bought the 1993 Nissan 300zx TT two-seater since 2010 with 145,246 miles and currently has an odometer of 154,658. I originally decided to have the engine rebuilt because of faulty OEM/stock turbos and need for reliability. During rebuild I received military orders to move to Italy for three years. The 300zx was returned from engine rebuild at 154,260 miles by Cruzin’ Auto Services (Z specialist) in March 2015. I left for Italy (military move) in April 2015. Immediately after receiving vehicle from engine rebuild, the car had to be trailered to my father’s house in MD. It was stored in a wooded shed until I came back this last December. Due to my military life, the car sat in Cruzin Auto’s shop for a long time, and due to rushed move, still does have extremely low miles on the engine rebuild because I just returned from Italy. Only recently I had time to addressed the last mechanical issue (bad wheel bearing) and had put it on eBay (no-one met the reserve of $5,500). So here you go, an absolute steal, but I’ll be happy if it goes to a Z enthusiast or creates a new one.
Engine Rebuild:Rebuild completed by the owner (Erick) of Cruzin Auto Services, an Automotive Repair Shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina who specializes on Z cars (search Cruzin Autos Services on Facebook or Instagram) for shop details. Cruzin Auto has extensive experience and knowledge of the VG30DETT and all Nissan Z cars and also heads the Fayetteville, NC Z Club.
Erick sent the engine block to machine shop for block decking & cylinder honing for over-sized Wiseco forged pistons; I do not know how many times the cylinders were honed or what spec the rings are set for. Brand new T28 turbos were installed, bought new from eBay. The engine rebuild process used mostly OEM parts with exception of pistons, rings, turbos, the gasket kit, and other parts that Erick needed to purchase for necessary modifications. I remember Erick mentioning modifications to the block including freeze plugs and ERG welds. I was told the engine could comfortably handle 600 hp if configured with correct fuel, air, chip, & tune. The car DOESN’T have these upgrades and DOES have stock fuel rail, injectors, air filter, chip, exhaust, and no professional tune. The engine is basically stock except for major part upgrades such as turbos and pistons. Engine currently still in break-in period; oil is currently NOT synthetic for break in period and still on first oil change. I have all pictures from rebuild process. I have a bunch of receipts for parts/labor since earlier than 2010. Overall, the engine was not rebuilt for an increase of HP, but more so for reliability.

The car does not have cheap parts installed and has had a lot of love during my ownership. Looking for a new owner to continue this trend. If you come to test drive, keep in mind that the car isn't registered and doesn’t have insurance so please do not drive like a maniac. Plus, Erick (Cruzin Auto owner) warned me not to rev engine over 6000rpm until after 1000 miles.
If interested and have questions, please email/reply to post for my phone number. Thanks.
