1990 Nissan 240sx 2jz
1990 Nissan 240SX Description
This is a 1990 Nissan 240sx. I have owned this car since 2006 and it has had this engine swap for 5 years exactly. I drove this car everyday in high school before doing the swap and body work. I have driven this car so much with this swap, but it is just sitting now as I have other projects started. I am the one who did the swap, body work, and paint. This is a very nice running and looking car, unlike most of the 240's with crap body work and rusted frames.
2JZ-GTE twin turbo Aristo engine swap with w58 5 speed transmission.Zero Lift engine brackets and trans crossmemberRefresh with new ACL bearings, arp head studs, and mls head gasketfactory aristo ecu with wiring specialties harness.Spal puller fans with custom shroud. it has NEVER overheated or had cooling issues.Aeromotive 340 fuel pump with sard adjustable regulator
Custom one piece drive shaft, welded diff and original half shaftscomplete god speed arm control arm kit with sikky front sway barParts shop max coil overs.Rota grid 17x9 wheels with 205/40/17 Federal 595 evo tires. rear tires will need replaced before sale. we can discuss if you would like me to do it or not because they are showing cords.shaved door handles with remote operated door actuators and alarm sytem.
PROSCar starts and drives every time, very reliable. I used to drive it almost every day.The engine is healthy and was refreshed with new rod/crank bearings, head studs and metal gasket last summer. The engine and head were both hot tanked and all parts cleaned before reassembly.full interior 8/10exterior, body, paint 9.5/10I have ALWAYS garage kept this car and turn off the battery disconnect when unattended. This car will be a great driver for someone looking for a reliable swapped 240sx, or a great platform to be used as a drift car.
CONSI believe there is an issue with the wiring specialties harness because there is a slight electrical draw in the alternator wire, which will kill the battery in a few days of sitting. I have relocated the battery to the passenger side of the trunk with a large battery shut off switch I use when I park the car at home. The exhaust pipe I used to build the exhaust is 3 inch (overkill) and it scrapes the ground here and there because of how low the car is. This does not bother me however it might bug someone else.No a/c or heat because the rear turbo is in the way of the heater hoses and I just never cared to make the a/c work. This car was built with fun in mind, not so much comfortability.
you may message me and we can communicate through text further with other questions, details, and other info.
THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS and there is no warranty. the vehicle and any issues or problems that arise after the sale will not be covered by me in any way. Thank you for understanding.
