Up for auction is my 1988 Nissan Pulsar SE with the 1.6LTwin Cam engine, 5 speed manual. T-Tops and factory Air Conditioning. Theodometer shows 75663 miles. I have hadthe car for approximately a year and was planning on sending it out to mysecond home in Arizona, but I have too many other cars going out and not enoughroom for it. This is an adult-owned, non-smoking car.
The SE version was a rarer version of the Pulsar NX and camewith the bigger engine and better options. This car is in generally goodoverall condition. It was repainted and the color changed from silver to allblack back in 2013. The paint/bodywork is marginal and showing its age, but itdoes have minimal rust. (Some has obviously been repaired). At the time of the repaint, some of the trim was removed and was not put backon. I have all of the trim pieces and a box of spare parts that will go withthe car along with an original Nissan shop manual.
Mechanically the car is in good condition. It is a blast todrive, very willing to rev and handles sharply. Obviously, it is not perfectand has a number of areas that should be addressed going forward. The clutchwill most likely need to be replaced soon, the exhaust rattles and has a leakat the manifold and one of the CV boots is torn. The tires will need to bereplaced soon.
All the lights and electronics work at they should and the carhas an aftermarket Panasonic stereo feeding the rear speakers. The interior wasupdated with new black and silver vinyl seat covers front and rear and the interiorand carpeting are in very good condition. The rear hatch struts were replacedrecently and the rear hatch area is clean and damage free. The T-tops are ingood shape and do not leak.
This is a very fun car that is getting harder and harder tofind, especially in this condition. For the Pulsar fan, this is a real find. Ihave had several Pulsars over the years and this is by far one of the best Ihave owned. I have the title in hand and the car is ready for immediate shipment.
The car is currently located in Lancaster, MA and is also being advertised locally. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. (Localdelivery in the New England area may be available by the Seller for a fee). A$500 PayPal deposit is required at the end of the auction and full payment in 7days or before delivery, whichever is sooner.
