1929 Oldsmobile f29 rumble seat coupe.
Original motor and transmission is not available.
Now powered by a 1970 Chevy 230 straight six with
a 2 speed GM automatic power glide transmission.
This has been my daily driver.
Has the original rear end, gears, and yoke coming outthen
the drive shaft was cut and welded to a new shaft to tranny.
Whoever did the work never balanced the drive shaft so it
shakes when taking off. I never got around to getting it balanced.
I drive the car daily if the weather is nice. Drives at highway speeds.
This car drives like a 87 year old car that it is. All manual everything.
Brake linings are good but need adjusting. they grab and the car
will pull to one side when Appling the brakes. All fixable.
Aheater core and fan was added so it has heat.
Has one windshieldwiper that works.
All lights and turndirectional work. Fog lights work.
All glass in good shape. Windshield made to roll down a little.
Rear back window rolls all the way down with ease.
The rumble seat is in excellent condition.
The interior is in good condition with seat belts.
The body is the original wood body covered by the originalsteel.
The car runs good and quiet. Not original paint. Solid steel.
I just installed a new water pump and thermostat this week in it.
This is quite a rare car and I hate to see it go.
I'm looking for something different that's not a project and I can drive daily.
