1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cutlass Description

Up for auction is my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Although it is exempt of the title, this Cutlass has 55K miles and drives as so. The original 350 rocket engine is still present and it runs very well. The transmission is an automatic and works as it should. Retaining the factory air conditioning, the AC compressor is new and the air does blow cool.
This cutlass was ordered with desirable bucket seats and a center console. The interior appears to be original and in nice original condition, not show quality. The windows roll up and down with ease. The top also appears to be original and is in good shape, not new by any means but more than acceptable for a driver. The white is a little faded but it looks good.
The paint is older and not perfect. There is fading on the quarter panel which I have photographed, its a tough picture to capture. There is some bubbling on the lower portion of the car which I have also photographed. There are some chips, a couple dings, and imperfections throughout; most of which I have captured in pictures. The undercarriage is solid and there is no frame rust/rot. The trunk pan is also solid. The doors and hood/trunk shut with ease as they should. The power top operates as it should.
The car runs and drives very nice. It has good power, drives straight and tight. IT stops really well, and with ease. The basic gauges work as they should. The radio does not work and the power convertible top operates off an aftermarket switch, not the original. The speedo is accurate. The fuel gauge works but floats a little during operation. This is a nice original driver quality classic that continues to appreciate in value.
