This second generation Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe (1954-56) is an American classic that is a favorite among collectors and hot rodders! This particular 1956 Oldsmobile was previously owned by Rock and Roll celebrity guitarist Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats. It was built in the Kansas City, Kansas plant in 1956 and was originally Cirrus Blue (Paint Code 40). It is a well running, Minnesota summer car that is stored in a climate controlled environment in the remaining months. It comes with a 324 cubic inch (5.3L) Rocket V8 that puts out 230 HP/340 FT LBS of torque mated to a four-speed Jetaway Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, and is ready to hit your next cruise night! We believe the mileage to be correct at 54,787. The previous owner (after Brian Setzer) wanted the car to be a "no drip" car and has spent thousands on it to make it as such. (Cam plug, trans seals, rear diff seals, crank seal, engine pan, rear main, power steering pump, fuel pump, etc)
Hood/body does have some paint cracking/chipping (Pics down below). Shop Manual and 6 keys included.
