1959 Oldsmobile 98 Sport sedan
1959 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Description
I have all the receipts for the work that was done on the car since I bought the Car, along with the full appraisal. It has always been kept in a garage, it has a factory transportable radio that works great, It's in the glove box with the plug in radio antenna. It's 99% original, a new head liner and a couple of leather front seat panels replaced due to cracking. The heads have stainless steal valves and case harden seats for today's gas, done at 36,000 miles when I bought the car, along with a new radiator. It still has it second set of tires on the car and the factory spare in the trunk. The Car has a small buffer burn on the hood a three inch tear on the drivers seat. The seam split by the drivers left shoulder and a tiny dent on the passengers door with a 1 inch scratch. and a few paint chips on the nose of the hood, the car is a driver and a great looking car. A seal between the engine and trans has a small leak not big enough to fix per my mechanic. Power Brake and steering and power windows and power seat 2 way and no air conditioning. An electronic module instead of points. Won best of class at the Oldsmobile car show in Morro Bay, California in 2006 and took a first place at the Reno National Oldsmobile show in 2011, judges gave the car a score of 927 points. The car was pictured in the 2008 Journey with Olds magazine, and goes with the car too. Buyer responsible for shipping and a money transfer to my bank account. My car was appraised for 22,500.00 before the seat split, it split this summer, Sorry!
