1960 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 4 Door Hard Top Holiday Sedan Description

Selling for 86 year-old Dad who is curtailing his driving. He purchased the 1960 Olds Dynamic 88 from the family of the original owner. Although, owner had passed way a number of years ago car was still parked in his same SE Portland garage since new. Car was purchased from Logan Oldsmobile in February 1960. Family has some original photos when when he drove his car home for the first time, parked in his garage, first weekend drive and first dent which was in the driver's door. Dad, also took photos when car was removed from the garage, and when the wrecker brought it home. He felt that since the body and interior were in great shape the car should be mechanically sound as well. He had the transmission resealed, and the engine was completely remanufactured including hardened valve seats installed to be able to use modern fuel by Portland Engine Rebuilders with all receipts. Window channeling was replaced, all doors and trunk resealed with new weather stripping. Car has been driven about 2000 miles since work was completed. It's a car you would be proud of, and it's safe to drive anywhere.
